Chair’s message to staff

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of your patients, I’d like to thank each of you for the way you have responded to the unprecedented impact that Coronavirus is having on us all. Change is not easy, and change at such pace can impact in many ways, so please ensure you regularly give yourself and your colleagues time and space to process this as a team.

We are all in this together. At such a time the ability to act collectively is key. We are fortunate to have created an organisation that allows us to do this. The board are clear in its role to lead thinking at strategic level, and facilitate the layers of working together above the practice (Our Health Partnership’s stepwise consolidated service response to Covid-19) to free each of you to continue to lead your practices locally as much as is possible. Strong local leadership has been shown to a key factor in a successful response to pandemics.

With this in mind, the board formally suspended all non-essential activities for the rest of OHP’s financial year and the first three months of next (taking us to 1st August 2020) to divert all resource to support our collective response to Coronavirus.

Please look after yourselves, your colleagues, your neighbours and your family for what is likely to be for the foreseeable future.

Kind regards

Vish
